WHAT IS PIP?

| Category: Personal Injury | December 29, 2017

PIP is an acronym for Personal Injury Protection. This usually comes from a person’s insurance company. PIP is predominantly for your lost wages and medical expenses. If you’re involved in a car accident and you’ve missed out on work or you have medical bills, you could take from your PIP claim and use that to pay the medical bills or your lost wages. Once that is exhausted, however, then you would have to wait for the settlement aspect of things or after we file suit and the case has been rendered in your favor.

If you are trying to retrieve your PIP from your PIP fund, you should definitely contact our office, The Law Office of Thomas E. Pyles, and we will definitely assist you in doing that.  We have offices in Waldorf, Leonardtown, and Laurel.
